@ what age and how do you judge your dogs tempermant, and how

example, my baby loves to chase and catch anything moving fast, leaves, bike riders runners (ppl walkin does nothin for her), so based on what ive read so far she has a high prey drive, @ least i like to think so lol

@ a very young age (9/10 weeks) she got bit by a dog (small ankle bitter) not bad @ all, more like nipped, now she lunges @ animals (is i let her go all the way up to the animal, she just wants to play). Is she animal agg and im nieve, or is that just how puppies play

what tempermants are important ?

i have my answersbut would luv to know yours

I think you are naive, not qualified to call yourself a trainer, and a really bad speller. Cute pup, though, and you sound like a nice guy.

You need to stop the lunging now, or it will only get worse.

I am gonna learn as much as i can in the next couple years and go breed. PPL luv to preach about the betterment of the breed then talk shit to a new guy tryin to learn. is it better for the breed to help me learn, or to talk shit, be an as, then let me run out there half cocked, and start breeding some bullshit.

no anger issues just low tolerence for ignorance stupidity, and bullshit

by beetree on 03 October 2012 - 13:10

Who is talking shit? I told you the truth, you just don't like to hear it.  Obedience trainer with a dog that lunges at other dogs....hmmm?

The only mistake I made, is thinking you were a nice guy!

....And when you fly off the handle like that and tell people to go **** themselves, yep.. anger issues. And now, denial!

What's up with the amount of people lately who are "going to learn as much as they can in the next couple of years and breed". I've seen a number of these posts recently on this forum.

To the OP, you asked at what age can you judge their temperament and how? You can evaluate a temperament at any age, just go look at what people do for "puppy evaluation tests", that's one way people evaluate. But are you asking how to evaluate because the problems you're having with your pup?

It sounds like by her lunging and trying to chase at runners, bikes, etc, as well as wanting to lunge after other dogs that you need to start doing OB with her.  And what does any of this have to do with learning for breeding? This just sounds like future potential problems if you don't start teaching your pup what is correct now.
