What are some pros and cons?

If you do give folic acid to the bitch, how much do you give?

I personally have never used it and my opinion is it's not necessary. But I will tell you a supplement I do reccomend. Red Raspberry Leaves. It is completely natural and a lot of women take it because it makes giving birth easier. I had a friend from Germany who bred white dogs and she swore by it. This last time I started giving it to Voo about the last 3 weeks and I think she whelped faster and had an easier time then any of my girls ever did before. What I got is made by Natures Way and I got it from Amazon and paid about 6-7 bucks for 100 pills. I just gave her one every evening with her supper. Myself I plan to use it from now on.
