Good evening...This is probably a stupid question but I need to know...I am trying to take a picture of my 4 month old GSD puppy ( Rocket vom Haus Juris) to put on his pedigree page on this site....I cant get him to stay in the typical Stance...any suggestions...
Thanks in advance...Drinks are on Me!

Practice, then have a drink.
Practice some more, have another drink.
Practice, drink,practice, drink.
Pretty soon you won't care how the picture comes out.
At which point he'll sense that and stand perfectly for you.
Ancient Irish secret.

Good one OldNewGuy!
You could also try making a jig that you could strap his paws into. Use a sheet of plywood and nail some doggy boots to it, strap him in and and start clicking!
Incedentally I really have no clue how to get a good stack. Which is why my dogs picture on this site is a blurry one of him running!

incidentally I cant spell either

You need three people: one to stack the puppy, one to attract his attention, and one to take picture.
Good luck!

flipfinish, I'm with you on this one. Stack? How the heck do you get a stacked picture? OldNewGuys method might work. ;-)

Usually i find if you can get him/her to just stand still without being stacked.
Then eventually once they get used to standing still for a bit you can then attempt to stack them, takes a bit of time especially if your trying to stand your own dog as he/she may just want to sit or lick your face.
Like von Lotta said, i find 3 people works better, a handler who knows how to stack a dog, you or your partner to attract the dog and someone to take the picture.
