Hi Star,
They are indeed Czech hip ratings, if you see a dog with 2/0 hips, that indicates there is HD in the right hip of the dog. 0/2 indicates HD in the left hip of the dog. 2/2 is obviously HD in BOTH hips...It goes without saying, avoid the later three choices...if you can get your hands on a 0/0 rating, as was said, its the equivilent of an "a" stamp, being excellent.

Hi
the 0:0 dog on our website is British bred and this is a British BVA score, it is the best score you can get and is considered to be 'perfect hips', certainly equivelant to a German A stamp normal.

Actually it is the UK ratings and 0-0 is the best hip score you'll ever get.
Each hip is assessed according to written guidelines and given a number from 0 to 6 being grossly abnormal and 0 normal. The addition of these figures for both hips results in a score between 0 and 106. Therefore, from this it can be seen that the higher the score, the more abnormal the hips are.

just as a side note...the dog with the 0:0 is a Bravos vom Steffen Haus son out of a Korado Avax daughter.
