Israel has repeatedly threatened to strike Iran, claiming Iran is working feverishly to produce nuclear weapons.  Actually it has been reported from credible sources that the Iranians bought a MIRV from the Ukraine when the Russian empire collapsed under Ronald Reagan's leadership (thanks to Leo Wanta's slick int'l financial work for the USG) and has had them for a long period of time.  Iran has been setting up an int'l oil bourse based on using alternative currencies rather than the US Petro dollar which is now the world's reserve curency, but perhaps not for long, since the forming of the new BRIC alliance.

Iran has been doing advanced research on cold fusion power generating and cheaper nuclear fuel rods, perhaps thorium based, a safer and cheaper alternative. the energy companies would not want Iran to succeed and market these technology worldwide.  Russia has sold some very sophisticated supersonic anti-aircraft and anti-ship intercepter systems to Iran and has technical advisors there advising the Iranians. The situation is naturally tense and could be a powderkeg unless all parties back off and de-escalate.

If Russia pulls out its technicians that means it is backing down.  If not, well there may be a serious checkmate on the int'l checkerboard.  And this last week the middle east became de-stabilized due to numerous uprisings and attacks on American embassies. This instability has of course been staged and paid for by certain parties who want to destabilize the situation for political and geopolitical gain.

WW III?

by Preston on 16 September 2012 - 02:09

Nobody knows for sure where this is going.  There are some hardcore Russian and American generals who probably would like a final showdown.  Both militaries are now based in massive deep underground bases (DUMBs) where they can run the battle from.

The USG has quietly been moving to the Denver area and out west and this has alarmed some folks on the inside who fear that they are preparing for something big or the possibility that something big might occur.  It is important to realize that the military in Russian and America are always playing war games and planning for multiple contingencies, most of which never occur. So troop and ship movements alone may mean nothing but can be geopolitical posturing.

And the recent movement of military equipment away from the east coast which has been occuring this late summer does not necessarily mean war is iminent, nor does the massing of ships within in striking distance of Iran mean a mideast war is imminent either.  But sometimes things go wrong.  If cool heads prevail this can be defused.  The problem is that some leaders want another major mideast war or even a world war in order to consolidate power. And they want it for war profiteering too.  Most wars are related to oil, steel, food and the flow of money and debt, especially inflation as in the Weimar Republic right before WW2 when oil and steel shipments were cut off from Japan.    If there are radical changes in any of these in a short period of time or crises related that occur, then war usually results. If the economy in the US become unsustainable or in acute crisis with rapid inflation, this could create the need to go to war

We can all hope this is just a show of force and a bluff. Americans and Europeans do not want another mideast war.  Especially one that could cut off 20-30% of the world's oil supply for awhile.  This could cause $8-10 a gallon gasoline in the US and $15-17 dollar USD equivalent gasoline in Europe.
