Sigh, I am supposed to be on line dress shopping but seem to be doing everything but.  I am going to a high brow snooty tooty December wedding.  It is an Indian wedding so it will be super posh.  What in heavens name do I wear?  I think my adidas track suit with weiners in the pockets just will not cut it.  I have an athletic build so strapless makes me look like a line backer, and it is impossible to buy anything that fits around my arms. ( oh know a gal with muscle ...) I am thinking of getting a fancy silk sheet and just cutting a head hole in it.  I will then add a fancy belt and shoes.  Hubby says absolutely not LOL!!! Ugg what do you non anorexics wear??? Help!!!

I would go with the cocktail dress and wrap. just go sleeveless and look for the neckline that suits you.. there are lots choices, look for good draping. The wrap can be a crochet, or I would go for transparency, but don't be matchy-matchy.  To be fashionable you need to have a metallic shoe, and if your aren't a heel person there are wedges that work. An accent of orange or magenta or, canary yellow, new for fall!--  in an accessory works.  Larger style earrings, and a stunning cocktail ring will be enough jewelry. Mixing metals is A-okay, gold has made a comeback.  Statement bracelets are hot, too.

Have fun at the party! Smell good, LOL

..and you call yourself a BCer. Two words for you: Tension Clothing.
I just about went broke when I lived in BC shopping there. Their clothes fit athletic women wonderfully!

Hi, it is an evening event :)  It will be very fancy.  One of the ice sculptures is over 60 K if that gives you an idea of the crowd.  I'm a dog trainer for heavens sake, totally out of my element. Ironically hubby had his tux picked out in about 3 seconds. Fricken metrosexual.  Yes he is a minimum of 45 minutes getting pretty and I am usually around 3 and that is if I shower and put mascara on.  He informed me that I WILL be wearing hair extensions and false lashes and there will be no arguement :)  Gah i'm being Barbie fied against my will!

I just snorted my coffee - this image is beyond funny. I demand pictures of you rocking out as Paris Hilton (no, not Perez Hilton).

You just need to nail it with the accessories...

If it's an Indian wedding, people will be extremely flashy in what they're wearing.
Did you want to wear an indian outfit?
You could wear a sari or a fancy lehenga.
