Just sharing a couple of pics - Page 1

I just wanted to share a couple of pics. The boy Mr B, I just love this pic it turned out so nice. He was my last puppy to go home this past Friday. He has been renamed Minko which in our language means Chief or Leader. The DeJa Vu pic you guys know is the girl I kept. She is very drivey and has some damn deep grips. They were 9 weeks old this past Friday and the pics were taken a week ago tomorrow. She has learned the doggy door and goes in and out-we are working on housebreaking and it is going OK. Now that she has learned to go out the doggy door and not just in, I think it's going to speed up a little. We are also doing the not jumping on me and sitting in front of me and that is going really good.

Thanks guys. I got an email and anew pic from Mike who took Mr B aka Minko. Said housebreaking and leash training are going great. That makes me so happy.

DeJa is getting housebreaking down pretty good. She had figured out how to come in the doggy door and last night figured out how to go out it, WooHoo DeJa...........now if she just learns to do her biz while she is out. I have taught her to sit and down so far. Tomorrow I am going to start on leashbreaking her.............she's so awesome..........I put her in an expen at night==last night I started getting ready to go to bed and she knew it was time for her to go to bed. Like a child no way mom. So she starts for the doggy door, which is in my kitchen going out to the garage--you know playing the Keep Away game--so she stops by the icebox and I pull out some shredded cheese--she came to me got her cheese and praise and I swooped her up............She cried about 5 seconds and then conked out...................

Both pups are precious! You can see the smarts in their eyes.:)

Thanks Joan. She has a toy she really likes. I haven't let her take it outside--when I went out this evening I didn't notice it was gone. My guess is her mom Voo stole it and took it out. Well anyway I am watching DeJa and she is tracking. I mean methodically like a grown dog really tracking. So she goes down the fenceline real slow and goes under a bunch of wild plum trees where the dogs have made themselves a nice laying spot--out she comes 100 mph with her toy. Now did she track that toy or was she just puppy tracking and happened to find it? I don't know but I know tracking when I see it. She ran to me with her toy and I praised and praised her. I do know these lines are scary self thinkers....what I mean by scary is you have to stay on top of them--they open things, doors, bottles, kennels, etc.............we sold one during the winter that at 4 months old was opening the icebox..............Too bad she couldn't have gone to a working home, not sure I am going to be able to do right by her but I am going to do my best.....................

They are adorable! I wish I could have taken him, but I'm so happy he's doing well...they are both very, very nice. Minka's owner is lucky to have such a handsome boy! jackie harris

Good Morning Jackie. I know you do and I know you would have loved him. He was more aloof--not scared--not timed--but aloof and he needed to be with his own person and to get out with his person and experience this big wide world and Jackie I just didn't have the time and energy to give him what he needed. So when the SAR girl contacted me and said she had someone interested--I told her I would come over there and meet with him--and I just knew he was the right person. Now when I met Mike I didn't know him but after I found out his last name, I realized I knew his brother, one of his uncles and one of his cousins and I used to dog show years back and we have been friends well over 20 yrs. I knew he would be in a perfect place. You know how that is in a small community--oh yeah I know your cousins LOL. I have already emailed with him and gotten a new pic and they are doing real well together. By the way his name is Minko.thanks for the comments Jackie. Have a great day.
