Curious if there is anyone that does anything with their dogs (AKC or IPO) in this area of Illinois specifically? If so, speak up. lol.

In Southern Illinois. Carbondale, Desoto, Elkville, Murphysboro.....as you can tell by the numerousresponses a happening place for working dog people. Lol.

Mike, yes it is. Especially all I want is someone who has some control over their dog to be a warm body and provide a controled distraction (not on a flexi line or some little dog snarling at the end of a line) a couple of times during the week. This person does not even have to be super skilled. Maybe I should take out a personal ad or something....perhaps that would generate something....lol.

There was someone that popped up with a small club in Bloody Williamson County about a year ago....Maybe two. (History Buffs will get the "bloody" or you can google!) Let me see if I can find it.

Hedi, you may have to have to go the Fred Lanting route. He has trained dogs to Sch.3 (and pretty good scores) with no club and no helper. If you saw where he lived, you would think you were in NYC.
