We are at 52 days today.  Maybe its just the weight of the pups... but I noticed today that I can feel her spine.  She has always been a trim dog but I could never feel her spin.  I am feeding her a quality kibble + Cottage Cheese and/or Plain Yogurt.  She is getting almost double the food (we just started this at about day 46 when she started to become ravenous). AND we are feeding her 3 times per day now (basically double her ration seperated into 3 feedings for easier digestion).

I don't want to over feed her and make things harder on her.  But I want her to get what she needs.

Does she seem to be carrying the majority of  her weight lower in the abdomen?  If so, it's possible that is the reason her spine feels more prominent...if you aren't sure she's getting enough food, increase it 1/4 cup at a time. If she's ravenous at every meal, and attacks it like a lion on a wildebeest every time, then she may be in need of a bit more nourishment--but since I don't know her, it's also possible that she might just be a 'good' eater, as they say.  Follow your instincts...after all, she's not going to balloon out to obese in just 11 days, if you increase her food.

She is definately carrying under her rib cage... she really just started "majorly" showing about 3 days ago (she's at 54 days today).  I just started adding a "late night snack", where's she is also getting about 3 tblsp of cottage cheese about an hour before bed.  That has seemed to curb the cravings..  Thank you for your response.
