I live in Urumqi. Very dry and cold place. Usually there are no ticks on the dogs. Recently I saw one around the neck area of my dog. I just simply removed it and observed the dog for at least two weeks. No more ticks at all. What one should do to as precautionary measures to avoid ticks. What is the usual source of ticks?
