I have an 11 yr old working line girl whom I'd like to register to the database, however I need to complete her pedigree first. This girl has a Czech issued pedigree, however I cannot find it right now. I do have a written copy of her 3 gen. pedigree on hand here. My girl's dam is Orna Wolfeland, her grand-dam is Tixi z Prodasic, whom is already in the database...however the pedigree listed for Tixi in the database is not the one I have on my female's pedigree. My pedigree info says that the sire of Tixi is Enno z Iglova, and her dam is Zasita z. Pohranicnej straze (the database lists something totally different) I am having trouble finding out what Zasita's pedigree is, I have found a Zamb z Pohranicnej straze and a Zita z Pohranicnej straze online, but both of these dogs have different pedigrees....so I do not know if one of them is a sibling of Zasita. the pedigree for Zamb is sire: Vyborny Bill Elmona dam: Brena z Pohranicnej straze and Zita's pedigree is sire: Ingo z Pohranicni straze CS dam: Cedra z Pohranicnej straze So...a complicated question! is Tixi's listed pedigree correct or is my pedigree correct? and who are the parents of Zasita??? If anyone can help...then much thanks!!!! Courtney

Hi Courtney, Not trying to be rude, but correctly spelling a name could help...Again, I'm not trying to be rude, just giving suggestions. The PS lines are spelled Pohranicni Straze...no idea where you got the other spelling...never heared of it spelled that way before...again, not trying to be a jerk, just trying to help, good luck on registering your dog, Many people on this site are wonderful help! GOOD LUCK

There is nothing wrong with her spelling of the kennel name. It is Slovakian way of spelling z Pohranicni straze. Trixi z Prodasic is out of Enno z Iglova and Zasita z Pohranicni(Pohranicnej)straze. Zasita was at the Policia breeding station in Slovakia. Zasita is out of Charis Jestedka and Alice Nyulasi. Zasita was born in 1981 and Zamb (out of Bill Elmona x Brena zPs) born in 1991 so they cannot be litter mates. Just cuz their name starts with the same letter you can't assume they are litter mates. There is at least 5 Zita z Ps', 1 born in 1977, 2 born in 1983, 1 born in 1987 and one born in 1994, I am sure there is still others. There is at least 2 Brena's also.

Thank you very much Hukka! I had figured one of the dogs (Zamb or Zita) was not Zasita's littermate, but I wasn't sure if the other dog was or not also. Thank you for clearing it up. I knew the spelling was different, I had assumed that they were different kennels, thank you for letting us know that it's the same kennel, just different spelling based on the country. Courtney

Courtney, since Czechoslovakia split, it became Czech Republik and Slovakia. The breeding stations became *z Pohranicni straze* in Czech and *Policia* in Slovakia. Now there is a change again (since 2003), z Pohranicni straze is no more, it was replaced by *od Policie Cesky republiky*. *Policia* is still the same in Slovakia. If you still need help with your pedigree, let me know.
