Does anyone have any type of reviews/comparisons they can give me between Dogtra & Tri-Tronics E-Collars? We're looking at getting one for training and have been told by various people they like one over the other. Just trying to get a feel for what people like best/worst about each.

Have tried them all by far Dogtra hands down , tough last forever and just seem to be a great value for the money. I know some like Tri-tronics but i just have never had good serviceout of them.

My vote is Tri-tronics. A liitle more expensive then Dogtra but you get what you pay for.
Tri-tronics gives you consistant, reliable and repeatable stimulation levels. Tri Tronics collars are also made in the USA. Dogtras are made in Korea. The new Einstein E-collars are the only other
American made collar and I'd look at thm too if I was in the market for a new collar.
I also really like the Tri-tronics discrete stim levels. 1 2 3 4 5 etc. with low med and high at each level. Dogtra uses a rheostat where you have to look at the transmitter to see what level you're at or look for a reaction from your dog. I use LOW levels, if my dog shows a reaction then the level is too high
