I am considering a female out of this litter (a possible future breeding), potential breeding prospect: Looking to do Schutzund, herding/HGH and agility with her. Concerned about reactivity and health (hips).

Can anyone offer any insight?

Thank you kindly...

I may or may not be of help. I'm not overly familiar with some of the dogs in this pedigree.

Thor, the sire, doesn't show any hip rating, but otherwise the pedigrees are pretty solid in good hips.
Really up to the individual pup, it's environment and mother nature at this point.

Thank you, EuroShepherd!

Thor is about 16 months old, will be going once he is of age. This breeding won't take place for likely 2-3 or so years, if everything falls into place. Very much in the future, but I'd like to get a good grasp on a pedigree long before I get my hands on it, if at all. ;)

Thank you!

My concern was that the dam, Lexi, is 5, 5 on Klara - lots of controversy about Klara's hips and hip production in her progeny? I was also told Xant helps improve hips in a pedigree.

That's the problem, though ... lots of controversy but it depends on who you ask. I wouldn't be too worried about it, considring the rest of the pedigree and if the dam's hips are good. JMHO

Dam's hips rated OFA Good. Sire's prelims were good, too.
