My 7 month gsd has a little whit eon his forechest. I know this is permisible but is not desired. The the white dissaper when he grows and starts to from more color. He has Dux and Yello lines. Do you think his bloodlines are show worthy. I know that Dux is an excelent producer Here he is at 5 months http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/479066.html Please help me thanks.

Very handsome little guy. Sure you can show him, if thats something you want to do, by all means do it. Sometimes the white spots go away but yor guy pictured at 5 months I could stillsee the white. Probably going to stay there. Getting more common with the showlines, doesn't make him a bad pup, he might do pretty well in Schutzhund or show, who knows until you try.

What about white on the feet. My female has white on the tips of her feet and a couple of white nails but no white blaze on the chest. She is 12 weeks old now, do you think the white will go away?

DesertRangers

It usually will not go away but sometimes tend to blend in as the dog matures and gets a full coat. I never even worry about alittle white if the dog is otherwise good.

Oh okay thats so much DesertRangers. My female is otherwise a decent female. Her pigment just isn't as strong as I had expected her to be from her breeding. Her nose leather and feet pads aren't completely black and I doubt they will become completely black when she is full grown. She is 12 wks old now. You can see her here: http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/480324.html Maybe she will get darker when she is older

I have a 4 month old GSD puppy out of VA Parents (VA 1 Liedo vom Kuckucksland & VA Ronda vom Zabershof). I got the pup at 10 weeks and he was a beautiful black & deep red. Now, 6 weeks later his color has change drastically. Now the red is getter lighter almost tan & he is getting silver on the saddle...I was wondering if the breeder maybe dyed his hair? I still think he is a good looking pup. I wanted to upload a picture but I do not see the link to do so...maybe someone could point me in the right direction on how to do that.
