This is cruel and stupid idea. Send up monkeys instead, or why not do the climbing them self.
The GSD balanced so high up and with his/hers heavy body, the poor labrador hold him/her self like that.
It is NOT naturally for a dog climbing like that.
I am sure of, NO dogs will do this without coercion and punishment.
But as usual. Once again a country like China show us how to abuse dogs.
ONCE AGAIN A REASON FOR ME TO LOVE MY DOG MORE THAN HUMANS.

Rescue dogs that work in disaster situations learn many "unnatural" skills to save humans. They simply cannot be coerced to do this. It has to be taught by very skilled people who can read the dogs.
Incidentally, my male GSD willingly without coersion or stress crossed a bridge over a local hiking trail. The bridge was over a raging rapids and it consisted of criss-crossed metal bars which he easily could have caught his paws in or fell over the side. I did not coerce him. He could have stayed on the other side but HE CHOSE to carefully and deliberately pick his way across and I could not believe his natural bravery! I was very proud of him.
