The hospitals, by law, are not allowed to bill for patients that they're forced to treat, by law! How's that for logic?

I tell you what they will do, as in my son, when CNA , his Workman comp carrier after all these years quit paying his doctors on time, letting it lapse for over a year with every excuse , and denying most of the drs treatments for his pain in the mangled foot, the drs. dismissed him...said unless you pay cash sorry but WC is not paying bills and they argue with us.
so the DRS you apply to treat now,,,say SORRY we will not take any workmans comp cases old or new.
THEN you go to hospital in so much pain you are ready to put anyones head thru a wall including your own, and the doctors look at his foot, AND SAY OH , SORRY BUT WE SEE NOTHING WRONG WITH YOUR FOOT,..IT LOOKS LIKE IT HEALED
WE are not allowed now by law...new on in JAN 2012, to write any pain drugs without due proof and you are not a patient of any dr here..GO find a foot doctor....I can give you some tylenol ????ha ha ha...
so He gets billed for a $900.00 bill for ER visit to tell him WE can give you a tylenol..?
And many of the 52 doctors who refused to treat him because he has WComp insurance...and no doctor can treat him because he is a WC life time on that foot case...unless they are a WC approved doctor.
WC cannot find him another Dr. no one will treat , even CNA won't find him a dr. SO hospitals will simply tell you ....we can do nothing for your problem..we suggest you find a doctor in the field of you pain and your illness.
OR they will give you one little non effective med , and tell you to consult with a dr of your choice elsewhere.
BECAUSE MEDICARE AND WORKMANS COMP do not pay bills on time and they only pay a very reduced rate...now the rate has fallen...and medicare and SServices in Texas are broke.
NO one can make a dr see you , no one can make a hopsital treat you ....and no government can make any INSURANCE co pay your bills. THEY hire special representatives to deny you over and over and drs will not take you as their patients. PERIOD>
