Speaking of shit, news on Bartmess - Page 1

I did a search on here and didn't find anything as far as what happened with the latest charges on Janice Bartmess.

So for those who don't know and want to know she was CONVICTED on July 21, 2011. Charged and convicted on one count of elder abuse, California Penal Code 368(b)(1). That is all she was ever charged with this time around.

Case # LAXSA076917-01 filed at the Airport Courthouse, LA County Superior Court. I found no record of her husband in the available court records.

As far as sentencing goes, that info wasn't available online but it seems that once agan, she got off with a slap on the wrist and not the jail time she so badly deserves. I found a record of her filing for chapter 11 bankruptcy on November 22, 2011.

Her bankruptcy filing was listed as a sole bankruptcy (no mention of her husband)

Y'know, it's sad, because this woman is NOT lacking in intelligence...but she IS mentally unbalanced, and needs medical help, and since she clearly won't seek it out for herself, it needs to be mandated upon her.  Jail won't do her any good, though it would keep her from neglecting another person and another animal, so there is that to recommend it.  But as overcrowded as CA jails are, I never thought for a second that she'd see the inside of one, even for this episode.  A facility for the criminally insane is probably where she really needs to be, but I'm sure those are overflowing at the seams in CA, too.

Thanks much for the update--I was just thinking about her and Dawn Marie Pieger last week, and wondering what the outcomes were of their cases.

I am disturbed by the involvement of this Kris Kotsopoulos as a principle in one of her enterprises. Isn't he the guy marketing a tracking book on Facebook and elsewhere? Guess he warrants a Google, now. Thanks for the update on Janice.

Come on Janice B has been charged and convicted. Kris K isn't even on PDB yet several people are allowed to throw out unsubstantiated claims. What about those peskyTOS requirements that
