There are currently 160 Representatives who haven't cosponsored HR 459.

2 hours left till the Vote !!

Please call or email your Representative.

It takes less than 5 minutes of your time to help Ron Paul do something he's been working on for 30 years. A FULL AUDIT of the Federal Reserve Bank System.

He first introduced this bill in 1981.

The GAO currently has the ability to audit virtually every aspect of the Fed with the exception of monetary policy deliberations and decisions.  The only thing this bill accomplishes is extending the current transparency of the Fed to those areas as well but, more importantly will give Congress the ability to exert political pressure to effect monetary policy rather than those decisions being made for strictly economic reasons.

Is that really what we want?  Do we really want to give the buffoons in Congress the capacity to influence monetary policy for strictly political reasons?

You have no background in economics or business and clearly understand nothing about how the Fed operates, their current degree of transparency or why political influence over monetary policy is a bad, bad idea.  All you know is that your whack-job messiah thinks is a good idea so you support it.

I would encourage everyone to contact your representatives and tell them to vote not no but HELL NO!

And you may get it.  Why wouldn't Congress vote to put itself in charge of monetary policy?  This could be an especially powerful tool for Republicans who are already doing everything in their power to tank the economy!
