Very proud of my niece's husband who just received his combat patch in Afghanistan and a promotion (he is an officer in the US Army):

Please, post any one you know who serves or served.  I'm proud also of my grandfathers, uncles, father, father-in-law, another niece's husband, and my husband for serving.

Pictures of my husband (US Army veteran) who was in 82nd Airborne and 101st Airborne during the Reagan years (Grenada invasion):

"Keith" gave you that I am in Florida and a US army ranger.... I would say that's more than having cowards on the internees vouch for you with a supposed alias of gross boy.

Well, my niece's husband has been deployed for 2 months now and the reality of war has hit him.  He has experienced a 4 hr battle at an outpost with the Taliban and had some friends blown up by suicide bombers.  Thank God he is safe!

One of my cousins has already served 2 tours in Iraq and 1 in Afghanistan and is now preparing to return to Iraq (at the embassy).   He is career military.

God bless all of our troops!
