Yesterday I dragged out the old bike, cleaned it up and thought that I would give my 13 month old SL puppy a try on the Sprenger.
She took to it like a duck to water. I know that she is young but we only did about 250 meters up and down the road.
I had to keep the brakes on the whole time she was pulling so hard I didn't have to pedal at all.
She is now in the Junior 12 - 18 month old class and she does need more gaiting at a faster speed than I can do so is it ok to bike her a couple of days a week
(though not very far or on consecutive days)?
She is not yet xrayed but will be very soon as we do them here after 12 months of age.

It sure is! I did AD's with all my females at around 18 months and practiced some months before that.
Just check paws regularily and test asphalt with your own bare feet for heat before you let the dog run on it...it can get boiling hot...
