I live in central ohio, we had a doozy of a storm system yesterday, Our town's electric was out for 5+ hours, many of my friends and family in other parts of central Ohio were also without electric yesterday. I saw today that around 1 million people across Ohio lost electricity for awhile, many are still without it today. I saw today that a house down the road from us was burnt black on one side, as if it was hit by lightening. Lots of trees down. The largest tree in our back yard lost a lot of it's limbs, I think I hauled about 800 lbs worth of limbs and branches from our yard today, UGH!
Thankfully our electric is back on, some of my friends and family are still waiting for theirs. It's hot here in central Ohio, but not nearly as hot as other places in the USA.
So how is everyone else doing?

It's a quarter to ten at night and still feels like a sauna outside. Over a hundred degrees yesterday and again today, but no storms. Glad you got power back on and nobody hurt ?
