This is not an anti-raw post, but it is some food for thoughts.
I think raw meats can be laden with Salmonellas. If the recall is truly valid and warranted, it is also a verdict on feeding raw, IMO.

You can "starve" salmonella with diet for a week. I had salmonella froma mayo once, fluids and diet and I was great in a week...
I take my chances with my dogs with raw.

I take my chances with kibbles over raw.
Actually, feeding very rare, just cooking the first 1/4 inch of any meat is a good compromise. I will never feed ground raw food to my dogs.

Anything Diamond plant makes is bad and poison for dogs..has been for years..no matter what brand they stick on it..
This subject and dog food has been discussed on here for 6 years GOOGLE all the threads about Diamond food.
Carnivorus animals eat raw.
Birds eat seeds and plants.
Only man sticks corn, flour, oats , wheat in food and burns it and stick a few dead dogs, buckles, rawhides etc in it for flavour and puts pretty pictures on bag with bright colors and hire movie stars to promote the food
God told man to work the earth and supply out of it.
NOW natural is the way for any way you want to have good health even for humans.

Stuff a narcissis with some raw meat and put in your dogs bowl...let him celebrate life.
