My pup Caia just passed after 14 great years as friend, companion, and protector. She had a magnificent soul and a boundless heart. A very special animal who formed a fast, strong bond with all who were lucky enough to meet her. I am hoping to uncover some information on any of her bloodlines that are still breeding. Although her sire's pedigree is perhaps more impressive, I am more interested in the dam's lines. The Stoffelblick and Koerbelbach influence seems to have been strong in her. She very strongly resembled those lines. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. - M. -Jako vom Kirschental (Caia’s Sire) - - (Sire) Alk vom Wiesenborn - - - (Sire) Uran vom Wildsteigerland - - - Truxi vom Wiesenborn - - (Dam) Winnie vom Kirschental - - - (Sire) Vasko vom Kirschental - - - (Dam) Fenga vom Kirschental - Fallon vom Haus Barlach (Caia’s Dam) - - (Sire) Alf vom Stoffelblick - - - (Sire) Gildo vom Koerbelbach - - - (Dam) Ira vom Koerbelbach - - (Dam) Adolpha vom Heiliger Hugel - - - (Sire) Urax von der Goldbergheide - - - (Dam) Cora von Canis Lupus

So sorry about your loss. When they leave they do leave a hole in our lives that never quite seems to be filled don't they? I know someone with the Weisenborn lines please e-mail me for the info. Thay may also be able to help with the others.

Interesting bloodlines. My one male is out of Xissie who is out of Amie who is out of Winnie. Bred his daughter to a Arek vom Stoffelblick great grandson (Arek is out of Gildo)....fabulous puppies/litter. Kept a male.

Thank you for the kind words k9sar and PSP. It is simply beyond words (or reason) how great her impact was on my life and that of my wife (plus two kitties that she raised and loved). Caia -- and all well-bred GSDs that I have met -- have a unique ability to connect with their owners in a very deep and personal way. Thanks also to the posts on possible avenues to look into. We feel a strong need to have our next GSD have some relation to Caia. I will definitely contact the folks who left their information via email. - M.

Your dog actually went back to some of the OLD top HGH dogs/producers. Very hard to find these combinations/dogs now. The breeding I did with my female (above post Winnie is also me...for some reason one computer has me as Winnie and another as Chey) once again brought these lines together. It is going back to those 'old' type german shepherds. I love the qualities that I got from the breeding. As mentioned the male I kept is just phenominal!! His sister is a certified explosive detection dog (she is being bred soon), a brother is worked in SchH. Earned his BH and is working on his SchH 1. (they just turned 2 yesterday). Another brother is a hearing assistance dog. Another brother is worked/trialed in competitive obedience/tracking. Owner is now looking at SchH. One male was returned this summer. He was 'too' much dog for the owner who could not give him the time needed for training etc. Really nice guy. He is now being trained in narcotic detection and will likley be cross trained in security work. The others are in active family homes and much loved. Generally I got excellent drives, strong nerves, balanced drives (not over the top in prey), good health, very trainable dogs that love to work. HOwever, also able to turn it off and 'rest'. A bit of stubborness with a few. VERY strong bone. Actually the males are quite big, that would be the only 'down' factor. Several are over 100 lbs. (just by a few pounds). Having said that they are VERY agile!!!! Dark sables and/or blanket blacks with all pups. So, not necessarily the 'traditional' look some people like. It was a super combination. I am now looking for a male with simular lines as the male I used for this litter for my next litter.
