A friend gave me this picture of a dog 10 months old. I can not judge it well, can anyone help how to interpret the picture is?

I'm thinking OFA good to excellent. Both sockets look good, look like they fit good. I could be wrong, but this is just my opinion

Is this a GSD?

Thank you for comments and helping to understand, I will tell my friend. It is a young black shepherd-dog.

Ever so slightly tilted , making left look not as well as right. But still good looking hips.

IMO this xray is not diagnostic. It does not show the joints clearly enough to be sure this dog is normal for breed and age. The cranial rim of the left socket APPEARS to be widening and the right socket looks rough, but a sharper xray is needed, a digital perhaps. I'd make sure the next xray is a better one since this may be one fo those close calls where a perfectly positioned and correctly exposed xray will make all the difference. The original xray may well be better quality that this copy.

I agree with Blitzen--a sharper xray (or a sharper image of the xray) is needed to really see what is going on.
The general depth and formation of the socks looks good--no *obvious* problems--but can't see whether the edges of the sockets are clear of calcification or other degenerative changes, can't see where the acetabular rim is on both sockets, etc.

Thanks for the help. The only thing I see that the dog is not well adjusted, there is no symmetry in the picture, one leg is "short", the other one "longer". But as I said - I can not judge it. As far as I know this dog, he is very spirited, fast and playful. But of course I do not see him often enough.
This bigger picture may be shows more than the small one. The contrast is a little higher.
(Why it is not bigger? I made it bigger.... )
