Here are my 6 week old Theo/Tessie pups enjoying their raw diet, the bummer part is that I
need to wean them off the raw and onto kibble before the new owners get them, I am
keeping a female from this litter, so she will continue on the raw diet.
I start feeding them www.frommfamily.com (Fromm Gold)  when I send them home with
their new owners.
I rehomed an older female with a nice young couple and they were already feeding raw, maybe
it is catching on....

This is the before and after breakfast time!

Little monkies;  so what's on the menu, can you share your recipe' for our info??  Thx  Nan  And just for the records, do you have any suggestions for raw for an old man dog that does not like to eat?  Can you think of anything that could help to entice him?  Thx  again,  Nan

Nan, two of my females became very picky eaters in their old age. I'd moisten the kibble with gravy/broth saved from the chicken I ate for dinner. If I didn't have any of that, I'd use commercial broth. I'd heat it up first, which would help bring out the odour, and melt the gelatin and fat from the gravy (it was mostly gelatin, with very little fat on top.)

Often older dogs don't like to do a lot of chewing, so maybe ground meat would work best if you're feeding raw. Something with a strong odour also helps to tempt the appetite...don't know what to suggest there. Tripe, maybe?

God has really blessed America, in keeping with the phrase on the dollar bill (not only from a religious point of view). Just making sure people appreciate what a blessing it is to be able to feed your dogs human grade food. Not even saying you should do something about starvation in other countries, just saying you should appreciate and fight to maintain the standard of living, quality of life, and freedoms afforded most citizens of the United States of America.

Yuummmmmy!  They'll be spoiled before their owners get the chance :-)  Do you feed veggies too?

Thanks for sharing that;  don't think it will work on this boy though, have tried to put him BACK on kibble to no avail;  maybe he will eat one meal and that will be it.  Am really trying to figure out something, so far have failed but will keep trying.  Thx again,  Nan
