K9 Motivation has a litter of 12 puppies line bred to Tom. Check them out.

I don't know the kennel personally, just by reputation. I saw a Facebook post today mentioning the litter of 12.

Google the kennel name and the website should pop up, but I think it's www.k9motivation.com

No matter where you plan on getting a puppy from, make sure that the Leefdaalhof lines are actually coming down through the pedigree and the dogs are not in a "black hole" where their genes are not passed on.

Here is a little snippet about black holes (aka, the X factor):

“Black holes” (for the lack of a better term) are positions in a pedigree that, for genetic inheritance reasons, tend to have little or NO effect on the offspring. These “black holes” are different on a male’s pedigree versus a female’s pedigree, because there is more genetic material on an X chromosome versus a Y chromosome. This is called the X Factor.  The racehorse community conducted a study about why famous stallions (namely Secretariat) couldn’t reproduce a son that was equally as talented as himself.  What they found was that Secretariat’s daughters got a gene that they could pass on to their sons (Secretariat’s grandsons) and those grandsons in turn could pass that on to their daughters. It was a sex-linked gene, Secretariat did not pass on his “maternal” information to his sons on the Y chromosome. He was only able to pass this genetic information to his daughters on the X chromosome.

I've seen a lot of litters advertised as being "linebred" on such and such a dog and the dog's genes don't come through on either side, let alone both.

If you are looking for a male puppy, the litter from K9 Motivation will be a true 3-4 linebreeding on Tom van't Leefdaalhof... the genes will come through on both sides.  They will only come through on one side for a bitch pup.

I also have a true 3-4 linebreeding on Tom that is due on July 5th.  Again, the genes only come through on both sides for a male pup, not for a bitch.  The pedigree for those pups can be seen here:

http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/para.utkoma?fadir=509076&modir=550404

The breeding also has Ike von der Mohnwiese, Metin vom Stadtfeld, Pike von der Schafbachmuhle and Ernst vom Weinbergblick coming through genetically.  If you want to see a "black hole" pedigree done up for a dog pup and one for a bitch pup to see what genes will come through, let me know and I will get you one.

Not to be insulting, because you're understanding is obviously greater than the average breed enthusiast... but, do you realize there's more to inheritance than what's found ONLY on the sex chromosomes?  And "black hole" pedigree?  OK, I understand your meaning, but I think it's a poor analogy.
