Hey Mike! I believe I did some research on this not that long ago and Tarheel Canine does. You thinking about leaving us?

Ha ha, I don't have time to join a second club :)

Although I am in the US Southwest, I am interested in PSA (or Schutzhund) and intend to look for a club this fall as my pup approaches his first year.  I think he has solid potential and is certainly bred for it. He's 7 mos and his obedience, ball and puppy sleeve work is coming along nicely.

--Not the exact topic of this thread, but I'm taking advantage of it.

In general terms, for those who practice PSA, why PSA over Schutzhund? Is there 'value' to PSA titles, or is the sport more for enthusiasts vice titling toward increasing breeding value? I am attracted to it since it seems a bit less structured and more oriented toward everyday scenarios...true? However, Schutzhund clubs are more prevalent. Opinions?

In my case, I just liked the people better. ;)
Although our club supports schutzhund, psa and mondio.
