Hi,
Can anyone tell me more about this pedigree?
http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/dog.html?id=1340580
Its mainly West German Working Lines with just a touch of East German Working Lines (DDR), correct?
Any other info that you could provide would be great.
I am new to learning pedigrees, so thought I would post.
I saw an ad for a puppy with this breeding in the classifieds section and the pup caught my eye.
Thanks

Sorry I don't know anything about the first 3 generations - but going beyond that --
these puppies have some well known (if not famous) ancestors. I have owned dogs with
"Antverpa' dogs in their background - and i feel they were a big part of making him the awesome dog he was.
People will say that the later generations have little bearing on the puppy you're looking at - but I tend to disagree -- They are stlll the foundation on which the pup is built.
If the first 3 generations are "SOUND" - in mind and body -(no reason to believe they are not)
and you can see the pups temperament or get reliable informaton from another source - then they certainly seem worth investigating further.
