Do Not Sell List - Page 1

We often hear about bad business deals wherein the buyer has a gripe. It would be nice to compile a DO NOT SELL LIST for breeder to list bad owners or difficult people. Collectively a few good local breeders share names of people who are bad to deal with or are bad owners. It would be good to spread this list throughout especially since people can so easily buy dogs without having a face to face meeting these days. Recently I've added two people to my do not sell list, one of which let a dog hang from a balcony (watched while the dog suffered a needless death). Thank goodness I wasn't the person to sell them a dog! My conscious couldn't deal with this! If people are interested, please email me privately. You mean the dogs people stood there and watched their dog hang? Didn't anybody else see and call for help?

I always check www.petabuse.com before selling a puppy. You can search by state, name of person or offense. Sue

I would have to disagree. There are alot of crazy people out there that would love nothing more than to ruin other people simply for competition reasons. If the person who is reported and "proven" abusive ... that I can understand. But, not for one person to rat on another ... sounds like a set up if you ask me. There's too much jealously in the Sport and Show dog world today ... and for people to just spout off who's who and who not to sell to .. well it's like piss in a tin horn. JMO. Melissa.

LOL I like your strait forward style Baby Eagle. A list of offenders or bad buyers would be nice but who can you realy trust to man this? The dog world is crazy!

i agree 4pack. it is a good idea but you need someone impartial to man it. also, slander and libel laws must be taken into consideration and studied thoroughly.

I would not start this thread as you do not want your dirty dog laundry thrown up on here do you? Opinions are just that, someones opinion!

I know about alot of what you do and I do not think you would want that listed here.

I am in a horrible mood tonight and this just pisses me off. 

Now if someone comes on and asks for people OPINIONS, that is another story, but I think your idea would get you thrown into court over a slander issue, maybe I am wrong, but I think your idea is WRONG!.

People have a right to sell to whomever they choose.  A do not sell list is a must among breeders who care what and who they sell to.

You don't know me at all or you wouldn't suggest the negatives you do.

If you do not want to partake then ignore this.  Don't make a stink with me just cause you are in a bad mood and I'm your target of the day.  You had to dig back to a post from over a year ago, but you sure did find something to complain about...perhaps you are on my list?

I agree with Biljenbec.This is a site for sharing info about GSD not about buyers whom may be totally differant with another seller.

Every story has 2 sides .This sounds like a way to get into legal trouble
