puppy needs ears taped in Indianapolis - Page 1

Does anyone know of either a vet or breeder in the Indianapolis area who has experience taping a puppy's ears? Thanks for your help, Judy

Judy, if you would like to do this yourself, I will be happy to send you the templates and some instructions. I don't tape anymore, and think that gluing braces in place is much easier. You may still want your veterinarian to do it-that is your decision. Just send an e-mail about this subject to Derhundmeister@aol.com and I will send these to you. Bob-O

Judy - If you own the German Shepherd Book by Susan Barwig (I think)there is a section on ears using Goody foam rollers. The part no. on the glue has changed but you can go to most auto suppy stores and get it. It is written by the AKC breeder who owned Sundance Kid. I have used this method and never had a failure. It is easy and you can do it yourself. I know a very large breeder who used special order forms, etc. and switched to this method. Puppies do not seem to mind the rollers because they are so light.
