Peter:  I have used Arden Grange complete food, especially the fish & potato "Sensitive",  and found it as satisfactory as any good quality prepared kibble.  As I haven't had time or storage to go the bones & raw foods etc naturalistic diets, I have had to use commercial foods, and have found Arden Grange and Royal Canin the two I've preferred for GSDs.
Arden Grange was developed by a GSD specialist breeder/exhibitor, IMO she knows her stuff.  Not as cheap as Wagg, but I certainly prefer it to that.
