Hi, I will be travelling to US on business. Since I will be there I will be looking for some show quality male pups from German lines. I am not aware if there are any formalties that will need to be completed. I plan to bring the pup along to India. Any help in this will go a long way. Athreya, Email me privately and I can give you exact requirements for importing a pup or pups from the U.S. back to your homeland. You will want to double check those requirements with your officials in your country. The process is relatively simple but may require going several places. There is some official paperwork that must be obtained here in the U.S. and that will take some days to get all the paperwork signed etc. It is also very important to know which airline you will be on flying home to India. Start checking now on whether and how they handle pups. If you are stopping in different countries on the flight home, there will be some additional steps you will want to take to make sure the pup survives.
