Hello All, Well, I have a question. I have always used on my own stud dog for my females, but I am interested in adding a little variety to my stock. Here's an example: Say I wanted to use a stud thats 7 states away, or across the globe, how would I go about getting the semen? What do you guys normally require your clients to send to you, before you agree to ship the semen? A pedigree, picture? A video? A vet report, and how do you make sure that the semen you are sending is only going to be used on that one female? And if you're recieving the semen, how do you make sure (apart from a DNA test) that you're getting the right dog's semen? In this day and age, be careful is top priority. I am asking these questions because I have a new demand for my stud dog, and personally know how to collect semen, but as far as ship it, and what to ask for, that will be a new practice for me.
