I have been very frustrated in this hunt for a dark sable female out of working lines. I see people selling puppies for$1000-$2000 when one or both of their dogs have degenerative joint disease grade 1. Of course they only advertise their fair or good hips and withhold the other information and you have to find out when you look up the dog on the OFA database!
If anyone has any recomendations on a good breeder that does health testing and good pedigrees with dark sable puppies please let me know :-) Thanks

victoria, what do you want to do with your pup?
while a dark sable is pretty to look at, if the rest of the dog falls short of what you're expecting you might not be happy.
companion, protector, agility, rally, obedience, schutzhund, tharapy.....
first you need to decide what attributes (other then color) you're looking for.
