Info Needed About Upcoming Shows

Hello there, We are trying to decide on which shows to attend as spectators in May. I am confused about the differences between them. Would those that are familiar please give me a brief description of each. I attended the North American Sieger Show in VA last year. Which would be most like that show?..Hubby likes the PSA trial we attended as he likes the bite work. We are planning on attending this show http://www.2012wdc.com/ which one below would be most like it??,,,,Thanks for your help..:)

As judron said, the AWDF Championship will probably be most like the PSA trial you attended and the USA Sieger Show will be most like NASS. The Universal Sieger Show is a combination trial and beauty pageant.

A very brief overview:

The USA Sieger show will be 95% conformation show with the dogs running the rings like you saw at NASS. The other 5% will be the working class protection routines for males and females, just like you saw at NASS. There will also be progeny groups of different males, and kennel groups. This show will essentially be what you saw at NASS just different dogs and people.

The Universal Sieger show will be two parts. One part will be a trial with dogs entered for the IPO (etc) titles, which will INCLUDE the dogs who are competing for the Universal Sieger/Siegerin title (those dogs will be doing an IPO3 by default). The other part is a conformation show for all age groups of dogs, and anyone who wants to enter can, but again this will INCLUDE the dogs who are competing for Universal Sieger/Siegerin (they will be in the adult working male and female classes). Simply put, the Universal Sieger show is a combination of a trial and a conformation show.

Yes, some of the same dogs and people will be at these same shows. The exception will probably be the AWDF as this will be mostly working line dogs. The Universal Sieger show will be both working and show lines. I will be at them all also.

BTW- We all need to try to introduce ourselves to each other!! Does someone have an idea as to how to set that up?
