Anyone have any new predictions for the male working dog class for the upcoming Sieger show ?

I believe that Barry de Chiamir will go VA. Androusha van Noort should also VA. It sounds like it will be a very competitive class.

they all have to pass the bitework which is going to be true to the breed, if you have a good dog and not practicing, get to other fields, other helpers or if you have a softer dog, i would get going on training lol well, i only know two of the helpers and there will be no gifts, only ABSOLUTE fair helper work and thats what this breed deserves and needs. if i was entered and there was a question in my mind, i wouldnt enter, but i dont have to ever worry about that ever with yani THANK GOD...
good luck to everyone in the working class!!!

Bazi von der Urbecke German Sieger show SG4 in 2005 and V17 in 2006. he did his schIII x 3 times with the last score at 290. will be on his first trip to the USA and he is looking forward to all the fun. Hopefully the long flight will not mess him up. He should be a real top contender .
Good Luck to everyone !

the bitework at any sieger show isn't ever going to be a test good enough for the breed. the helpers are alway soft with the dogs and aren't to test them. The bitework at the seiger show should be as hard if not harder than the bitework at the SCH Nationals. Instead of trying to see who will pass or fail they should be trying to run as many as they can. We as breeders and fanciers of the breed should want teh weakier dogs exposed and the best dogs show there skills. I was told by one of the national helpers that will be at NASS that its a shame that they are told to not test the dogs because we could all see who is really worth breeding. I also am interesed in knowing which dogs will be at the trial. Anyone have a list of them?

I agree with you. The one year the helpers were not soft on the dogs Madison, WI. there was a 50% failure in the male class that year. I don't remember the female stats.

hi Ceddy, i am not sure if you were talking to me, i am Dawnmarie i HATE the nickname Dawn lol
i 100% agree with the statement that the bitework should be as hard as it is at a Sch National, and i will never worry about my two present females failing because i trust in them... two of the helpers i know.. are NOT going to be soft on ANY DOG out there... they are going to be fair when i say fair i mean they are not going to beat dogs to make them fail they are going to give correct bites and do things the way they should... there will be no gifts... i have seen these guys and their hearts are too loyal for the breed to risk their reputations as helpers to "help" someone along... i dont know the "rules" of WDA so i am not sure what they are suppose to do for WDA but they have to obey the rules of WDA but they are NOT going to give any gifts...

If any Sieger Show helpers are on it would be good to hear what they think of various top show dogs. It is a very different perspective face to face than in the stands or on video.

Hi Cedric,
would you also argue that way, if you were in the competition with an anatomically wonderful dog, who was winning a lot of local shows, but doing average bitework??
You can assume that everyone in the competition is trying to do the best for his dog.
And should the helper not be a helper?
And.. don¿t you think, the skilled breeders anyway know, what they have to do in future breedings??
