Has anyone shown their WL dog under the following judges or know how they judge WL dogs:

 Richard Brauch

 Ernst Seifert

Thanks,
Sara

I have show under Herr Siefert and found him to be a very fair, knowledgable, and gracious judge. He takes the extra effort to explain the individual dog.

He V rated a working line male at a show in PA

Ok, good! I plan on showing my WL Bitch.

The Herr Siefert judge is judging something called the Mid-Atalntic Region show.

The other show is the Northeast Region show that Brauch is judging...they both sound big (which scares me). But, what do I know! Nada!!

I wonder if anyone on the forum will be at either show that can handle my dog in the 12-18 month class. Please pass the word and let me know. Thanks so much!!

Sara,
You should enter or attend several shows, if nothing else to see what is done and for the practice.
There are always people available for handling your dog.
I would suggest you at least attend (or enter) the one I mentioned to you in May in CT.
It is a working dog club too.

Jeff,

That is a good idea!  I just couldn't commit because I wasn't sure when my obedience show was going to be held (it's 5/6). So, I will be able to attend. I will watch and try to make some contacts....

I also sent them an e-mail to see if I may attend their conformation training days if they have any!

Will you be at the show?

Sara
