We've recently started schutzhund training and I would like to have my female OFA'd for hips and elbows before we progress. She is 2.5 years old and due to start her cycle the first week of May. Is it safe to have the x-rays done within the next week? I was going to have them done when she turned 2 on Sept 1st but she was due to start her third cycle that week so I waited. Wouldn't you know? She didn't come into her third cycle until the first week of November. Ughh! Thanks.
