I have been told both yes and no.
The no's state it will effect her hips having puppies at that age.
Her hips are OFA certified Excellent. I would liketo carry ion her bloodline, but do not want to endanger her or cause her any medical issues.
Her health and well being is more important to us than trying to carry on her bloodline
We have talked to various trainers and our vet about this with different opinions from each.
Thanks,
Dannie

IMO
Is she closer to 6 or 7 yrs. old ? I can't see having a litter would effect her hips in
anyway. If she has had a couple of litters already, I think it would be just fine. As
long as she is a healthy dog.

Why are you breeding this dog? Is she titled in a working sport? Does she have a show rating? Breed survey? is she mentally stable? Is she within breed standard? DM tested? Brucella tested?
The risk at this point would be, IF she gets pregnant, that state of the puppies...there is high risk of them having some issues. If it is her first litter...she could very well have issues whelping, or even showing interest in puppies.
IMO get a younger dog with the same bloodline, theyre everywhere.
