Hey Everyone I just go this puppy and was wondering if you all could tell if she is pure bread.

The reason I ask is because her ears are small and her snout is a little too pointy?

Thanks,

She is female and 7wks old, weighs about 7-8lbs and her name is KEMAH!

pls copy the link below!!

yes, she looks purebred.

Different types/bloodlines of dogs will look different as pups even as they do as adults.  I've noticed that sometimes what a dog looks like as a puppy can be deceptive in regards to what it will look like as an adult.  Sometimes big boned beefy puppies grow up to be average looking dogs, sometimes scrawny small pups grow up to be big boned beefy dogs.  (pitbulls can be a good example of this)
Don't worry about her ears, they'll have a growth spurt and an oversized phaze too, if she's only 7 weeks then she isn't old enough for big ears yet.  All puppy ears look the same at birth, no matter what breed, it takes awhile for their bodies to grow and form the characteristics of their breed.

Is there a reason why you are concerned about her being a pureBRED puppy? Did you get her from a breeder? I agree with EuroShepherd, I have seen purebred GSD pups that don't look like your typical pups and they will change a lot as they grow. I see what you mean about a pointy nose, small ears, and she seems to have rather small feet. Just curious as to why you are posting this at such a young age? Where did you get her from (breeder vs. rescue)?

She was a gift from a buddy of mine who he got from one of his friend that returned from the Iraq.

My friend swears she is fullblood, says that the mom wasmore brownthan blackand that the fathrer was more black than brown.

Thanks,

ohh i also think she was the runt!

If it were pure bred I would assume you would have been given papers, depends on where you got it.

Yes, he does, and he's a cutie. :)

I love getting my puppies at 7 wks, not illegal here thank goodness.  I'd rather them with me then sitting in a kennel.

All the best with yours!

1.) the runt of the litter can grow up to be the best dog in the litter.

2.) sounds like whoever bred the dog was a Back Yard Breeder but she looks pure to me.

3.) Papers are good if you are going to show and breed but they don't make a bad dog better or define a good dog.

4.) Do you like your new puppy?  If yes is the answer NOTHING more needs to be said.

5.) as a German Shepherd person just make sure you get your puppy to the vet for a health check, worming and vaccinations.  Take her with you to all sorts of places so she is not fearful of things.  Get into a Puppy class and then a beginner obedience class (because when she is 60 pounds she will be a lot nicer to take places if she is obedient!).

6.) ENJOY HER AND HAVE FUN!!!!
