playing tug - Page 1

I have a five month old gsd. I was wondering if playing tug with her would make her aggressive, or is it just good fun exercise for her. I am not interested in using her for protection, she is just our good family dog.  thanks for any comments,  Jim

Playing tug won't make her more aggressive, you'll be fine.
Socialize the heck out of her, take her everywhere, let her
see everything.

If she has good temperament,no it won't make her agressive..are you a regular pet owner?because if so,this will make her more "mouthy" , but if you will train her in Sch or protection,then you need to do this;also,join a club,get some training to help you understand. Good luck

thanks. i have a 7 year old mixed pound puppy and they play all the time. She completed puppy preschool a month ago, and we are still working on basic obedience- sit, down, come, etc. Does anyone know of a club in central ohio? I would like to go to learn more about the gsd breed and see different shepheds and how she stacks up.
