came across a gsd club but information pertaining to it appears somewhat limited. Can anyone help and advise if it is genuine and worth joining? Apologies but came here due to not finding anything any where else.

My thoughts,
if they can't supply address and phone number I say no way, plus when I hit the link it took over my browser and would not return here on a back space.
Avoid the link all together members.

DelaneyL,
that's the only reason you joined?
Pathetic.

The reason for joining?
I remain dubious.
Yes the link worked but after going to the contact page it will not let me return here.

Moons - you are not very computer literate are you?  it took over your browser?  give me a freakin break........it is called............ use the back button..............  not sure about this site -they don't seem to have much to do other than - promote long coats.............  my opinion if you lack anything better to do then maybe see what they have to say - but I am sure there are better things to do with your dog than just be in a club that doesn't have a purpose to work your dog or even show your dog................  Just my opinion - and Moons - I hope you don't get your panties in a wad because of my statement about your computer literacy........

No problem Yogi,
if you'd read my post you'd see when I tried to back out it would not return to the database, I used another way to return.
Some websites do this.
No big deal, maybe you should fill out the form to get the information that should be out in the open on the page.
I never give this kind of form a second look myself.
I agree the site's not worth the effort, and yeah I have some time on my hands at the moment.
Moons.

LOL....
you have the same kind of form on your website as well......

Next time that happens, double click on the back arrow, Moonie.

I know the people organising this club, genuine lovers of the longcoat GSD and active in holding shows in the UK for them with the support of several well known GSD judges and exhibing their own dogs at the major shows that hold Longcoat classes.

If you are into longcoats, why not join?.  If you don't care for the longcoats, don't bother.   There is a contact page so you can email them for more information.

I apologize to the poster - got side tracked on moons comment.  I don't think that because some one has chosen a method of contact "such as the form moons is talking about" displays they are not legitimate.  I agree on an address for their meeting place should be posted if it is for a Club. (not a personal website such as mine-moons)

Posting telephone numbers on a website in my opinion is a personal preference.  You can post it - have it plastered every where and get a million crazy calls - with no intent from the caller to ever visit your club.....  Time wasted in my opinion.... Not to mention in this day and time - alot of maniacs.

I think the website outlines all their goals as well as lists its committee members.  If you have common interests that reflect in this club - then I think they have outlined their mission.

Best Regards.

Actually,
The only thing that drew my attention was the moonfruit.com.
I do not care for long coats or sneaky people.
If not for the combination of boredom, curiosity, and a bit of Rum I would not have commented at all.
If the poster was genuinely interested why did they not fill out the form and get the information directly from the source.
No matter, when you come to a public forum you have to expect a variety of opinions.
That's mine,
Moons.
