Has any one here ever used or heard of Christine Nolan
My nephew is hiring her to come to his home and help with his hyper pit bull mix. I told him I would ask on here if any one has ever used her and if she is as good as they were told by their Vet.
Any information would be very much appreciated. Thank you all in advance.

Can't help you as far as any personal experiences go, as I moved from South Jersey back in 1999 and I don't think this gal was training in the area at that time. Here's the link to her website, though, which has some info on where she apprenticed as well as some references...

Thank you hexe for the link. I passed it along to the owner of the dog.
toomoon's, This boy rescued this dog from a deathrow shelter. He spent a lot of hard earned money on fixing him, getting him healthy ,giving him a wonderful home. This is their first dog,and they are willing to spend more money to help and learn training on this dog because they bonded very much with this dog and love him conditional.
Why your remark that some people should not own pet's period?I admire these people to put in the time and effort to save an "otherwize" doomed animal. JMO.

If you can't be helpful and have something good to say, don't say anything at all.

Moons.
Where the hell do you get the brass to declare someone should or shouldn't have a pet, just because the person is seeking help in training the dog? Neither you nor I know the dog in question, the dog's owner, or this particular trainer, FFS--yet you have the gall to say, 'Save your money'?!?
KETCAT, I don't know this trainer personally, but I DO know the organization she's doing a great deal of volunteer work for, and they don't accept the training services of just anybody who offers, so I consider that to be a point in this person's favor. And I notice that she's clearly willing to work with pit bulls and pit mixes, unlike some trainers who refuse to even consider doing so (and I don't condemn those who won't...everyone has their limitations as to what risks they're comfortable taking in the name of dog training); so it's reasonable to expect that she knows what she's up against in working with a young, busy pit mix that's had some bouncing around before landing in a stable situation. And while most vets don't know much about training and behavior in general, they DO know whether or not a client's dog that was previously a problem to work with is reformed after the owners worked with a particular trainer...so that speaks well of her, too. I think your nephew's odds of this being a good fit are extremely promising, and if he puts the work in with the dog, everything will fall into place nicely.

Thank you so much hexe. Your input is so greatly appreciated. It is someone like you I hoped to get great advice from.
I did expect someone rude to answer, their alway's is someone on here who has to throw in a remark.
But it is the advice like your's that make this database very helpfull.
My nephew love's this dog,it is a very smart dog and the only problem is my Nephew needs a professional hand in helping to train him. This is his first dog and if he is willing to spend the $ and time I feel "Kudo's to him".
I will update when this trainer come's to his home Nov 10th on the progress.
And yes his vet has seen some positive out comes from problem dogs after this trainer helped.
That is why they reccomended Christine Nolen.
Thank you again hexe!!!!
