I bred my female with Cato 6 months ago & met him also. I'm a huge Cato fan. He is a sweet goofy dog in person, but serious when working.
Cato is a HUGE dog! It's hard to tell in the pictures or video but he is easily 115lbs now chucky retirement weight. But he doesn't really throw his size in the offspring. You can contact Vikar Kennel, they worked & titled Cato for a lot more details on him. http://www.glisnik.com/index.php?lang=en

I'm in close contact with the puppy buyers from this litter & held a male back for myself. I'm buying back a daughter from this litter as well. Depending on your girls pedigree you should have very nice working dogs produced with Cato. If your dam has high prey + defense it'll be enhanced in the off spring with Cato, & most puppies will be to much to handle for the average pet home though.
I loved my Cato litter. Your welcome to talk with me or a puppy owner working one of the offspring.

He sometimes DOES throw his size. I was all set to buy a daughter of his to match my Czech male, but she turned out to be HUGE. Easily the size of a large male.
So, unless you want a big one, be careful! She was a super worker though, titled but not all sport, some real guts there.

115 pounds?Come on.I have seen Cato in person a lot of times,he is standard height and is/was standard wieght.
However,he has produced well, his offspring are known for clear head and very strong drives. He sometimes throws longhair and can also produce bad elbows.
Cato´s dam Darka Va-Pe comes from a very strong litter that has influenced working bloodlines in Slovakia a lot - Darka,Daja,Dona,Duna and Dunco produced a lot of top dogs.

Like I said, in his current chunky retirement weight he is, as I was told by his owner 115lbs. During working weight he was around 95lbs.
I own a 2 year old Cato daughter as well, she is an awesome worker, as was the litter I had with him.
Danny Killeen he must have been bred to a large female, majority of his offspring have all been within standard sizes.
I love the fearless attitude of the offspring, gentic full bites, & still presence of a strong defensive side too.
If your taking your female their for breeding, I'm sure the breeders can arrange a helper to come out & work Cato for you.

I'd prefer to work him myself.....It is not my female. I'm just helping a club member!
