I’ve got a Dog... No, actually, I’ve got a Soul. I love her very much And sometimes feel very sorry for her – Because my Dog doesn’t have a dog of her own. Sometimes, when I feel sad, - Do you know what it means – to have a Dog – when you are sad? So, sometimes, when I feel sad, I hug her and I ask her: "My Dog, would you like ME to be your dog?" It was translated from one language to another, and then to English, so there isn’t much rhyme to it, but it touches me every single time I read it, so I thought I’d share : )

Like a potato chip eh? One doesn't stop the craving.

Isn't that the truth. We get one, then we see something in another one with a little different breeding and just have to have it. Then we think oh my puppies are so cute, we should have some. Then the task of deciding IF we can get rid of them or do we keep them all and make all kinds of excuses to ourselves why we just have to keep 1 maybe 2 oh heck lets just start a kennel. And as far as the hugging and talking to them when something drastic happens in our lives, there is nothing at all better then that big slurp side the cheek that licks away the tears and just somehow makes us feel better. Thank God for creating such a loyal loving animal as the GSD.

I don't know what I would do without my babies, have teenage daughter(enough said there right?) and hubby that needs skillet upside head now and then cause swear he is worse than the 8 & 9 yr old boys. Oh what would I do without my dogs? I swear I would DIE !! hubby commented the other day, I swear your mom's gonna marry a dog, have new pup (one we bred and keeping) WOW he has stollen my heart, daughter is peeved she says, " Now we have 2 Twisters oh god" Twister being my 2 yr. old GSD boy. Thank GOD for giving me these dogs, my salvation I know. and am Thankful for Every Day !!
