Brief synopsis:

Buyer purchases dog and has it shipped to his home.  Dog isn't what he expected/wanted.  He waits to contact Kraftwerk until after the return period (a return period? on a live animal?)  Buyer sends the dog back to Kraftwerk without verifying with Kraftwerk that it is okay to do so.  Airline contacts Kraftwerk to tell them of the dog being shipped to them, and Kraftwerk says, "well no one will be there to pick her up."  Dog ends up spending the day at the airport and then boarded overnight at the airport pet hotel.  Neither party sees that they've done anything wrong.

Poor dog. I *hope* there is more to the story than what was reported, but I don't see how that would change anything.

if i got jacked like that id keep dog til i found it a good home i wouldnt ever send it to a shelter or anything like that if the breeder was a scum bag like kraft work

i have a question is a trained dog really suppose to just listen to newb owners when it gets off the plain? seriously? when i bought my dog she kenw slovak i didnt expect her to listen that much i had to re train her in english she was like a wild bull also these things take time

u work on it slow low gain a dogs respect i can't believe how stupid owners are i am a newb also but come on its just common sense isnt it? my dog is perfect now

my dog was aggressive to my cat when they first met and fice versa but now they are best friends cause of me it took months of work tho not a "week"

at this point my dog is fiercely protective over the cat when they met she wanted to kill the cat but now she turns into a tigress if she thinks the cat is in possible danger

How sad for that poor dog. I'll volunteer to take her off the buyer's hands and give her a home with lots of love. Just tell me where to be in Dallas DFW and I'll be there.  texaspeg49

This is why   Kraftwerk could care LESS.  HE is too busy with this man , giving interviews , about charging $230.000.00 f0r a Beautiful PROTecTION dog with this MAN>. He brags about his champion bred dogs he turned down an exhorbitant amount for... so he leaves them at the airport instead..lol

Inexcusable business practices on the part of Kraftwerk all the way around... JMO There is no way a dog can settle in within 72 hours and the contract stated there was a 72 hour return policy. That in and of itself is borderline unethical, in my opinion. That is just for starters...

Destiny, You would pay $7500 for a dog and rehome it without giving it a thought? After he bit your child? That's a lot of money to give up and a huge liability to rehome the dog. I don't think there was any easy way out for this buyer, not that I agree with shipping the dog back as he did. The poor dog is always the one that suffers...

the child clearly did something wrong

id re home the dog with someone capable enough to handle it withotu kids but of course id try to get my money back first id never just ship an animal like that back tho without talking to the breeder about it and discuss what was gonna happen to the dog its the crappy hits we have to take in the dog world

The child did something wrong?  No I don't think so, but yes, I agree with the last part.  Kraftwork should never have sold this dog to a family with younger children and saved everyone a lot of grief.

by destiny4u on 14 October 2011 - 23:10

actually i take that back the parent did something wrong he didnt tell his child how to act around the dog i just dont believe this trained dog just bit the child for no reason something must have happend that triggered it but it was the fathers fault for letting the child push its buttons like that JMHO he might of let the child pull the dogs hair or tail or something who knows.  We do not know the full detail the child may have tried to ride the dog like a pony or something.  Kids will be kids and a lot of parents might just let them act the way they want thinking its "cute" i see it daily lol
