OK,  when importing an FCI registered dog from Serbia, that is already supposedly "A"Stamped hips/elbows, is there supposed to be the letter A inside the blue triangle or not?  I recently got a Serbian import with FCI registration, and there is a blue triangle on them, but no A inside the triangle, under the triangle it does say 'ED NORMAL"  so I'm a bit confused??  The other imports I've seen/bought always had an A inside the triangle??  Anyone care to comment?

That means ED-Normal.  The dog has not been X-rayed for HD

Thanks, the seller/breeder both said she's been both HD/ED normal. I'll contact them.

Does the FCI issue papers?

Here's an example of German Papers with hip and elbow stamp.

Thanks and yes I've had both the German pink papers and the Slovak papers with those stamps, this set I got is blue/white with the FCI emblem, and the stamp on the back as I described in op. I am just wondering why someone would do ED and not HD??

The pink German papers show 2 stamps. The triangle one "a" is for the hips, the one next to it says "ED normal" is for elbows.
