Now that we have heard about some excellent studs how about the best females?
First thing I usually do when I visit a website is look at their females. You see alot of people fronting the stud but IMO the best breeders are the ones with the quality females.

I totally agree with you, Do you know some nice east coast females?
I also look at the females before the male to see what they have. However there are some great studs who may influence the puppies alot. I was taught the female is about 60% and the male 40%. I am not experienced enough to say if this is true, but in my last litter it was.
This is only input but does not answer your question. I would also like to look at some nice east coast females

Each parent contributes 50% of the genes to each puppy. Genes are inherited in pairs, one half of each pair coming from each parent. So, genotypically, every dog is 50% its sire, 50% its dam. Phenotypically, some may look more like the sire, some more like the dam, other may even favor one of the g-parents.

I've only seen photos, but Carl, Fokwulfe in MD, has a bitch I really like a lot. If he's reading this or if anyone else knows her name maybe they can post it. I think she's listed on this board in the dog gallery.

One interesting kennel with nice females is
van den heuvel and I believe they are located in the east.
These are working line dogs.

Van Den Huevel is actually located on the westside, Oregon to be specific, they have mainly Czech lines :)

Ch. Jalmark's Dynasty VCH,CD, OFA, OVC KKL1, SchH2
I have her grandson, Extremely Nice dog !
and it's my understanding this bitch produced several super dogs.
Her accomplishments speak volumes for her, she championed, she went to SchH2 level and KKL1 nice to see that diversity and "completeness"

Although she's retired (probably gone to the bridge awhile now) you could hardly do better than Molly Graf's wonderful Xinerobella v Tiekerhook (by Fero out of a Harro daughter). A great dog herself, "Ike" produced excellent dogs/bitches that CONTINUE to produce excellent dogs, the true test in my book.
