The HGH results are now up. Is this the first year that there are no Kirschental dogs? How sad! Hate to see that!

I am sorry for my ignorance...I am very interested in learning more about herding and herding bloodlines but what does:
GHKH, JHKH, and JKH mean?
Also..this kennel did very well: Glockenbergsschäferei
Have they been around awhile for breeding herding dogs?
Thank you....

Younger class - dogs (JHKH)
Open dog (GHKR)
Open bitch (GHKH)
Younger class - bitches (JKR)
JKH is also another class but not sure what it is.

Ibrahim, thank you....
So, I am assuming only the open bitch and dog can get V ratings? What are the age breakdowns? Is open for 2 and up?
Also, stupid question...but this is an actual herding result with 200+ sheep or is it a conformation class of dogs that hold HGH titles?

JKL or Jugenklasse is for 12-18 month olds
JHKL or Junghundklasse is for 18-24 month olds
GHKL or Gebrachshundklasse (adult) is for dogs 2 years old and older
SG is the highest title awarded in the JKL and JHKL
VA is the highest rating awarded in the GHKL, followed by V
Dogs that compete in the Sieger Show HGH Class are judged on conformation only; it is not a working trial. The SV holds a separate national herding championship known as the Bundesleistunghuten (the BLH) where the dogs are judged on their herding skills, usually a week or so after the Sieger Show.
Separate conformation classes are held for sheepherding dogs at the Sieger Show as due to their extreme levels of work such dogs are often quite thin, don't have the pampered coats that the show dogs have, etc. etc. etc. and thus wouldn't fare well against the top show dogs in a beauty contest. Dogs 2 years old and older can earn V conformation ratings in the HGH Class, but not a VA rating. In the younger HGH classes, the highest conformation title awarded is SG. The younger dogs are not required to hold a herding degree (HGH) to be shown in the HGH conformation classes, but they are generally owned by shepherds who state their intention that the dog will do such work.

Wow..donald deluxe! Thank you so much!! That was very educationally for me and I appreciate you taking the time to answer my questions!! I thought it was an actual working trial..silly me.
I wonder how common it is for a dog to win the BSZS HGH Herding Conformation class and follow that up with a win at the BLH in the actual herding trial?
I also wonder if the VA HGH dogs are required to have advanced ScH titles as well to get the VA title?
Also, I wonder if some kennels (like Kirschental) may do better at the actual working trial part versus the conformation show part?
Lastly, if I undertsnad correctly, the younger dogs can win their class but may never end up having a herding title? That seems odd. So, sounds like this BSZS class doesn't really mean anything in terms of real herding ability?
