There is a product called For-Bid that is suppose to work. I have never used it but have heard that it works, mixes with the food and is eaten.
A lot of puppies eat poo. Different theroies on why they do it rangeing from seeing the mother cleanup to the undigested nutrients in the poo.
The way I break mine of doing this is to clean it up right away after they do it and telling them no if they try as I am cleaning it up.
Hope this helps,
Mike

If I recall I think the general opinions were to keep the area as clean as possible and the behavior will diminish and eventually cease. Good Luck.

Echo is correct. Just pick up all droppings before you go out and watch for the hidden piles. If you have to keep your pup on a long line to teach "leave-it" or "phooey!". It this worked well for my puppy and many others as well.

None of the "remedies" work.. a dog that eats poop does so because it can and wants to!! So, preventing the behavior is really the only way.....

I agree with DKiah that none of the remedies seem to work forever. You may be able to go an entire six (6) months before this happens again. Some dogs are prone to scavenge more than others and just can't seem to stop this nasty behaviour.
Keep the pup away from its stools as much as possible, and as EduCainine said, use this to reinforce some obedience training.

I had a pup once that started this and totally grossed out the better half. Figured out that I was pushing her too hard in training and stressing her out. (pup not wife) Anyway, I relaxed training schedule a bit and problem went away. Just a suggestion to try.
